A training program in Northern Region

Starting in April of this year the Northern ADR and GIZ plan to conduct a training program in the northern region. The beneficiaries of this being APL I, II and other potential applicants from EU and national programs.

On March 29^th and 30^th, Mr Stefan Elsing, GIZ expert for cross-border and transnational programs of the EU will be in the Northern Regional Development Agency.

Mr. Elsing GIZ is an expert for the project "Capacity Development for Regional Development and Cross Border Cooperation in Moldova."

On the first day, Mr. Stefan Elsing participated in the process of selecting a service provider in the region which will develop and implement a training program on project cycle management. This is for projects funded by the National Fund for Regional Development (NFRD) and EU programs - border and trans. To achieve the project objectives, the service provider has been selected - CONTACT Balti-Regional Centre - they will work in close collaboration with the North and GIZ ADR.

On the second day of his mission he is scheduled meet with representatives of the Regional Centre CONTACT in Balti. At that hearing an action plan will be prepared also case studies used in the training program will be discussed.

Following this visit, Mr Stefan Elsing will prepare a report about his activity in Moldova.
