The second round table on updating the district's socio-economic Strategy Riscani, chapter "Water supply and sanitation"

Riscani district administration in partnership with Northern Regional Development Agency (RDA North) and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), initiated the update of the socio-economic strategy in the Riscani district chapter "Water supply and sanitation". An integral part of this work is the dialogue between stakeholders on the needs in water supply and sewerage, which will result in prioritization of local needs.

Riscani District Council in partnership with RDA North held a second roundtable in the framework of the socio-economic Strategy Update for the district of Riscani, chapter: "Water supply and sanitation". The work will continue to update SDSE chapter: "Water supply and sanitation", where participants will identify local priorities and criteria in water supply and sanitation in the district of Riscani. The meeting will take place Wednesday, August 24, 09:00 in the restaurant "Paradise", in the city of Riscani.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of the District Council of Riscani, mayors, representatives of the private sector, members of civil society from the district, technical experts from Moldova and from abroad.

The event is organized within the project "Modernization of local public services in Moldova", implemented by GIZ. This is the second of three planned round table meetings in the course of updating the district's socio-economic strategy Riscani, chapter "Water supply and sanitation". The next roundtable will take place on September 23^rd.

The purpose of updating the district's socio-economic Strategy Riscani chapter "Water supply and sanitation" is to ensure a transparent strategic planning and investment and attract new sources of funding, leading to improvement in the field.
