Training Program: "Drafting for NFRD and EU funds”, in Soroca

The second session of the Training Program: "Development projects for NFRD and the EU funds", held within the project: "Capacity Development for Regional Development and Cross-Border Cooperation in the Republic of Moldova", takes place Thursday, May 26, in Soroca.

The training program is organized by the Northern Regional Development Agency (RDA North) with financial support of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ). It will be conducted by experts from the Regional Centre for Assistance and Information for NGOs CONTACT-Balti.

Improving the quality of regional and cross-border cooperation is the main goal of the organizers of the training program. Within the training  a general idea of ”‹”‹the main tools available funding will be discussed. This funding will come from the National Fund for Regional Development (NFRD) and the European Union (EU). Cross border programs (CBC), the transnational (TNC) and procedures for the application by increasing capacity in regional and European development projects will also be discussed.

The event involved representatives of the Local Government I and II in the north of Moldova, as well as employees of ADR North and CONTACT-Balti Guided by experts. Participants are divided into teams; project ideas were identified and specific aspects of the projects were discussed.

The first of the seven sessions of the Programme took place between April 19th to 21st in Balti, Soroca and Edinet. The second session of the training program, which took place on May 24th in Balti and May 25th in Edinet continues today with a similar program in Soroca.
